propscreen reads South African property listings from hundreds of sites, values every home against the homes around it, and shows you on a map where the asking price is lower than the home is worth.
You no longer need to search ten property sites and guess what a home is worth.
propscreen reads the large portals, agency sites and small private sites every day. When the same home is listed on several sites, it shows one home and links the adverts.
Each home is compared with similar homes in its suburb: by floor size, by bedrooms and stand size, or by land size for plots and farms. You see the estimate, the range and the homes it was compared with.
A score from 0 to 100 ranks every home. It rises when the price is below the estimate and when the seller has already cut the price, and it is more careful when there are few comparable homes.
A price map colours each suburb by its price per square metre, month by month, so you can see which areas are rising and which are falling.
Models look at the photos to judge a home's condition, and estimate which way asking prices in a suburb are moving.
For each home you see the likely rent, the cost of buying (transfer duty and fees), and, in some metros, the municipal valuation.
Three steps run all day, without you.
